Printing & FAQ

Pattern help

Every pattern comes with three ways to get it onto paper (or fabric). Pick whichever works for you.

Option 1: Print at home (US Letter or A4)

  • Print page one first and measure the test square to make sure it's the right size. Print at 100% or "actual size," never "fit to page."
  • Don't print double-sided. Check your printer presets before you start.
  • Tile the pages together by matching the lettered and numbered triangles on each edge to form diamonds (A1 meets A1), then tape.
  • Tip: trim the left and top margins so each page overlaps the next one neatly.

Option 2: A0 copy shop

Send the A0 file to a copy shop or online print service that prints large-format sheets. Ask them to print at 100% scale.

Printing only your size

The files are layered by size. Open them in the free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, open the Layers panel, and click the eye icon next to any size or view you don't need. Then print.

Option 3: Projector

Use the projector file with your calibrated projector setup and cut straight from the fabric. Turn off the layers you don't need, just like with printing.

Common questions

Where's my download?

Right after checkout, Payhip emails you a download link. If you don't see it, check your spam or promotions folder.

I'm between sizes. Which one do I pick?

Each pattern has its own sizing advice on the pattern page and in the instructions. When in doubt, check the finished garment measurements in the instructions.

Do you offer refunds?

Patterns are instant digital downloads, so all sales are final. If something's wrong with your files, reach out and I'll make it right. See the refund policy.

Can I sell what I make?

If you'd like to sell garments you make from my patterns, please contact me first so we can chat about it.

Can I share the pattern with a friend?

Please don't! This is a digital product. Patterns and instructions are copyright Aspen Lord Patterns LLC, all rights reserved, and are not for distribution. Your friend can grab their own copy in the shop.
